About The SIBO Doctor Education

The SIBO Doctor Education is committed to teaching healthcare professionals the tools and skills to manage the most advanced gastrointestinal conditions. Our trainings are available worldwide so that even practitioners in areas with few resources have access to the information. We keep our courses current and practical because we want practitioners to gain the skills and expertise to achieve consistent results with their patients.
The SIBO Doctor was founded by Dr. Nirala Jacobi, BHSc, ND (USA). Dr. Jacobi teaches the SIBO courses herself and invites expert physicians to teach additional courses on the advanced management of gastrointestinal disorders.

About Dr. Nirala Jacobi, BHSc, ND (USA)
Nirala Jacobi, BHSc, ND (USA) is a USA-licensed Naturopathic Physician, and an internationally recognized expert in small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) and other functional digestive disorders.
Dr. Jacobi received her naturopathic doctorate in 1998 from the esteemed Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington. She brings more than two decades of clinical experience and expertise. with a focus on SIBO for the past 10 years.
Over the last decade, she has taught thousands of health care practitioners her successful methods for treating SIBO. When she saw a need for a more structured and reliable diet for SIBO, she developed the SIBO Bi-Phasic Diet. That diet has now been accessed by thousands of people from around the globe and has served as the inspiration for everything from cookbooks to restaurants.
She is known for her systematic and effective approach to diagnosing and treating SIBO and other functional digestive disorders.
Dr. Jacobi has a passion for teaching healthcare practitioners how to develop the skills and expertise to take on the most complicated SIBO and gastrointestinal cases. She is committed to delivering reliable information and clearing up the misinformation that leads to improper treatment and poor case management.
In addition to offering online trainings through the SIBO Doctor Education, she speaks internationally on topics related to SIBO and gut health. She is the director of Biome Health LLC in the United States of America and SIBOtest.com, an online breath testing service for practitioners. She is also the host of the SIBO Doctor Podcast.
Dr. Jacobi currently lives in the beautiful Northern Rivers area of New South Wales, Australia, where she is also founder and director of her own naturopathic practice, the Biome Clinic - Centre for Functional Digestive Disorders.
